- Notes on running "TECHniques" Electronic Edition
-
-
- "TECHniques" Electronic Edition was created using Asymetrix ToolBook(R).
- We've included a runtime module, so you do not need ToolBook to run the
- newsletter.
-
- "TECHniques" requires Microsoft Windows(R) version 3.0 or higher.
- Although it will run off of a floppy or hard disk, a hard disk is
- recommended.
-
- To run "TECHniques" Electronic Edition, copy all of the files onto a floppy
- or a hard disk directory of your choice, select "Run" from the "File" menu
- in the Program Manager, and enter "[path]tbook.exe tech.tbk". For example,
- if you've put the "TECHniques" files in the directory "C:\tech", you would
- enter:
-
- "C:\tech\tbook.exe tech.tbk" (do not use the quotes).
-
- If you wish, you can install an icon to run "TECHniques". To do so,
- choose "New" from the "Files" menu, then choose "Program Item". In the
- "Description" dialog box, enter "TECHniques", and in the "Command
- Line" box, enter:
-
- "[path]tbook.exe tech.tbk" (again, where [path] is the path to your
- "TECHniques" files).
-
- The icon will default to the Toolbook icon. If you wish to change it,
- we've included an icon called "tech.ico". To use it, click (but don't
- double-click) the "TECHniques" icon, choose "Properties", then "Change icon"
- and enter "tech.ico".
